OBJECTS FOR ESTABLISHING THE COMPANY ARE:

 

 

a)    To give every assistance, practical and compassionate, to road crash victims and to victims' families.

 

b)   To give moral and practical support to victims/families throughout all legal processes up to and including court trials which result from road crashes.

 

c)    To, where possible, house and care for victims/families, on a short term basis, whose crisis situation necessitates such care.

 

d)   To, when possible, provide a means of sustaining victims/families while their finances are unstable due to road smashes.

 

e)    To maintain a 24 hour telephone grief counselling service for bereaved families.

 

f)     To maintain a day care centre for the bereaved who need counselling and or respite from pressures within their grief-stricken homes.

 

g)   To maintain a two-way network of information and communication by identifying the needs of victims/families, and developing and co-ordinating help resources through Government departments, private agencies and community groups.

 

h)   To maintain an avenue of communication between the community and State and Federal legislators with a view to promoting a high standard of justice for victims/families.

 

i)     To maintain the company's road safety research library, utilising it for the purpose of an information bureau, making all materials available to Government departments, the courts, educational institutions and the general public.

 

j)        To, at all times, do everything which is practical and feasible to promote maximum safety on the roads.
